Case Study – Cann

When Sue Cann approached Grand Union Designs her brief to Phil was concise and straightforward. She wanted a bright, wooden kitchen putting into the newly commissioned extension to the existing room. Sue had visited her near neighbour who some months earlier had Grand Union Designs fit her kitchen and was encouraged by the extremely favourable reports and recommendations. Sue was especially taken with a large cabinet with bi-fold doors, behind which all manner of things could be fitted and closed off from view in seconds.

Sue wasn’t sold on the idea of an island and wanted to retain the open spacious feel of her new room. Phil suggested a complete wall of mid height cabinets with some interest built in, and of course managed to position a cabinet with bi-fold doors on the opposite wall.

‘Once I had seen Phil’s plans and drawings that was it! There was simply no comparison with any other product or company that I had invited to quote. No one came near to their level of expertise or willingness to suggest ideas and help.

I love it – I love my kitchen – I love it! I love my bi-fold doors, I love my pantry cabinets and the space it creates.

The problem was that my beautiful new kitchen made me totally disillusioned with my adjoining utility room, so we went back to Grand Union Designs and had them do this too.

They have been really fantastic, incredibly polite, tidy and courteous in my house. Lovely, lovely people. We thoroughly recommend them to you.
